Ramsey Self Storage

I have been with Ramsey Self Storage for over six years now. I love how they are there to help you as soon as you call with any questions or concerns. I love that no mice have ever gotten into any of my belongings in the six years that I have been there. Their units are always clean and now they have added the security gate which makes me feel even safer. I highly recommend Ramsey self storage to anybody that needs a place to store their items. Their prices are also very fair!

I was new to town and discovered that the apartment I was helping move my son into would not be available for another month. With a U-Haul loaded with furniture and arriving on a weekend, I needed to quickly find a place to safely store the furniture. Luckily I reached out to Ramsey Self Storage and got a quick response and call from Kevin. Even though it was a Saturday afternoon, Kevin promptly called me and walked me through the process remotely so I could pull right up to the gate with a secure password, find the unit quickly and unload the furniture before dark. Such a professional outfit. Units are clean, secure and access to the unit, flawless with wide pathways. Kevin and Ramsey Self Storage exceeded all of my expectations. Thank you so much! They will soon be changing from 24 hour access to only day access soon which really suxs! Having to be approved to enter the storage units after hours is not my understanding of 24hr access. The fitness centers have 24hr access, they dont have to be approved, anytime they want they just go there with the card and go in. A person really shouldnt have to ask for approval to go to a unit they are renting, or have to bother someone in the middle of tbe night to get access! We should still have the ability to just enter our code and go in when we want, that's my understanding of 24hr access! Other then that decent prices and clean storage!

TEN STARS! We’ve rented from different storage places over the years, but The Storage Place of DL has been the best and easiest place we’ve ever rented from. The units have nice concrete floors with an extra layer of security in the rafters (to prevent people from crawling through the units from above), and the doors fit snugly below the concrete floor, so snow doesn’t drift in and pests are deterred from entering. The exterior lighting around the storage units is bright and there are cameras strategically placed. We always feel safe being there loading and unloading, and we are confident our stuff is safe and secure. Steve and the staff are so easy to work with, too. 10/10 Highly recommend!

This is a great storage facility in Detroit Lakes. They are locally owned and operated. Everyone is friendly, responsive, and extremely helpful to work with. These units are new and easily accessible, I highly recommend.
