JustStorage - Olathe

I’ve been storing things here for six years, through multiple name changes and management switches, and somehow my stuff has remained secure, untouched, and not haunted. A true success story. Even better: the price has only increased maybe 3–4 times in six years, which feels suspiciously reasonable in this economy. It’s clean, gated, monitored, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Staff has always been helpful, and I’ve never worried about my unit or my belongings. Not fancy, just reliable. Six years later, still here.

We are very pleased with the Just Storage manager, Jess. She is very competent and helpful. We needed a new key for our storage unit and she really helped us. We highly recommend Just Storage and their manager Jess. She’s outstanding!!!!

100% do NOT recommend! Their rates increase rapidly and come to find out that even with receipts proving payment for months they had my unit tagged for auction. DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE. I regret not researching more.

Their new manager, Liz, is the rudest person I have ever met! Two days before we were to be moved out of our storage unit, the exit gate was broken so we couldn’t move anything out. I requested an extra 2 days and she, reluctantly, approved. The night before we were to be out she was driving around the storage units at 9:00 p.m. watching us from the next row over. I’m not sure what the reason was for this but nonetheless it was creepy! The next day my husband went by the office and asked if we could have an hour to get a couple more items out. He pulls up and she’s got the cops there as if we are there to cause problems. She goes on to tell him “if you have money to leave town, you’d think you have money to rent a truck” then tells him “how many more excuses are you going to come up with” amongst many other hateful things. Liz is unprofessional, hateful and what nightmares are made of! You manage a storage facility, come off of your power trip. You’re not that important! I’d stay as far away from there as possible.

The staff was very friendly. Derrick, I believe was his name, was so friendly and knowledgeable. We’re very happy so far!
