CubeSmart Self Storage - Prior Lake

I’ll be honest—I initially had some concerns with my experience at CubeSmart Storage in Prior Lake, MN. However, what truly turned everything around was the exceptional customer service I received from Tracy. She went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied, kept communication open at all times, and consistently checked in whenever she received updates regarding my concern. That level of care and follow-through made a huge difference and completely changed my overall impression. Because of her professionalism and dedication, my move-in and move-out process ended up being incredibly smooth. The move-in instructions were straightforward, everything was well organized, and the entire experience was far less stressful than most moves usually are. As we all know, moving can be a major hassle—so having it go this seamlessly was refreshing. Overall, I highly recommend CubeSmart in Prior Lake, especially thanks to Tracy’s outstanding customer service. She truly cares about her customers, and that alone makes this location stand out. My suggestion before fully booking with them is (1) check if their truck is working and not in the shop (it should be free use if you rent a unit from them and (2) make sure to get a rundown on ALL charges because it sometimes does not reflect that website.

We’ve had a very positive experience with this storage facility. The property is consistently clean and well maintained, and the units are in excellent condition. What stands out most is the staff. They’ve been professional, approachable, and genuinely helpful whenever we’ve had questions. The process was straightforward, and everything was clearly explained from the start.

Tracey assisted me with a tour and answered all my questions when I stopped in to get information at this amazing storage facility . Thank you for your friendly service and making this an excellent customer experience. I have a clean and safe place to store my items. Highly recommended! Mike, her colleague was helpful as well!

Tracy was very helpful with my first time at the storage area. She gave good directions, came outside to help, walked down to the locker to help with the lock and was patient with me. She smiled and laughed with us, which put us at ease. I am sure she will help me the next time!! Jane

Too much to detail but I will update this later. Great initial price at the beginning only for them to hike the prices up constantly (107% increase in rent so far) with no justifications for it. All the reviews including mine (prior to this one) that are great and/or 5 stars are all from customers who just got their unit and was baited with a "great deal". They lure you in with these awesome initial prices but don't fall for it. If you only plan on having a storage unit for a few months then great but anything longer, find somewhere else! Look at Cubesmarts reviews on Trustpilot, these are more accurate than the ones showing on here.
