  Good storage but customer service is a bit lacking

  I made a reservation for the space but had to wait for some time before I could be helped as the facility only had one person managing that day. When I was helped, I certainly did not appreciate the sexist comments questioning whether or not I could lift the items I brought with me. The comments happened several times. The clerk assuring my partner that "Oh yeah, don't let her lift anything!'. It was rude and unnecessary.

  Nice clean facility, Very poor customer service

  After making reservation online weeks prior (thru spare foot) and securing a room for the day of my move and receiving a confirmation number- I was told 10min prior to arriving with a truck full of furniture and movers that I was paying by the hour, that there was no reservation and that there was no room available. Not even a different size. Since it was a Sunday late afternoon I had very few options, and had to scramble to find ANY storage facility in the vicinity to rent me a room. That storage facility ended up being in another borough, miles away, and cost me $285 more than I had budgeted, (not to mention the extra hours I had to pay the movers). When I called to speak with the manager to complain and get an explanation the next day, the woman gave me her GM's number and told me to take it up with him. In the following days I ended up leaving several messages (at least 5), and never received a returned call. The people working in the office who I later spoke with in person, were not only unsympathetic, but treated me very poorly, repeatedly telling me I never had a reservation since it was taken through Spare Foot, a company they said they were not affiliated with. Overall it was the worst moving experience I've ever had, as well as absolute worst customer service experience (Storage Post facility staff).
