  Not what it used to be

  I am pestered with emails and calls every month to pay my rent. When I am called and then push a number to speak to someone I am asked to answer questions to "protect my identity". THEY CALLED ME! The prices and late fees are outrageous, especially compared to the prices before Prime bought the facility. They were immediately raised 40% and complaints to the Prime office in Saratoga, NY, go unanswered. I've explored alternatives but have so much in storage (three of the largest units) I'm nearly trapped, given the cost of moving. I spend $6000 a year there and feel like a homeless squatter. Recently I was with my assistant -- no other people anywhere near -- and told to ear my mask by one of the office workers. Why? So I don't infect my own unit? Ridiculous I can't wait to move out..

  Poor customers relations.

  Increased my rent as soon as they took over from Shetland Storage by about 30%. Increase bill suddenly again in March , 2021, gave no leeway for an incorrect payment as I have my payments sent automatically My bank so that I donﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t miss any payments, was not aware of the increase. They ended up charging me a total of $70 extra which I think, included charge for insurance. They have a letter from my insurance company from last year saying I have homeowners insurance I feel very difficult to deal with and canﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t wait to get out.I also let them know that I am very preoccupied because Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m taking care of my sister, I just found out she has stage four pancreatic cancer , so it might take me a little longer to get to my Mail as Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m taking care of her almost around the clock Marie Feudo

  No security, No enforcing covid-19 rules

  When the when the facility was owned by Shetland it was good. Now that prime has taken over, pricing went up 30% immediately. For 8 weeks last Summer the security doors were broken and never addressed and never fixed after I made multiple phone calls. If we weren't in the middle of a pandemic I would be moving out of the facility. The cameras for security are not visible on site only off-site.
